L.I. Representative Faces Treatment for Lung Cancer

WASHINGTON — Representative Carolyn McCarthy, a Democrat from Long Island, announced on Monday that she has a treatable form of lung cancer.
Ms.
McCarthy, who is 16 years after the cancer was discovered during an annual
physical examination. She said she expects to lose during treatment. Some of them
work in Congress
"My doctor at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where I received my
treatment told me that I belong to my command in good physical shape, and looks
forward to returning to work on after I get back," he said in a statement
on its website .
Mrs. McCarthy, 69, said he expects "difficult days" before she learns
to treat them. But they predicted that he will face the same way he faced her
illness encountered other problems.
"I'm a fighter, as many people, and I am determined to beat this new
challenge in my life," Ms. McCarthy, who was killed by political events,
such as the law on the control of arms after her husband, Dennis said, is their
son, Kevin was injured when gunman Colin Ferguson fires a long train of the
railway in Iceland in 1993.
"I look forward to the successful treatment and to continue the mission
started work as a member of Congress," Mr. McCarthy added in a statement.
